Metro CareRing is a hunger relief organization that operates one of the largest food pantries in Denver. Last year, Metro CareRing provided 148,129 hunger relief and self-sufficiency services to low-income and homeless individuals, offering food, nutrition and healthy living education, utility and transportation assistance, employment readiness programs, and identification documents.

Client Hours: 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Monday through Friday) and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Tuesday only)

The Action Center

The Action Center’s mission is to provide an immediate response to basic human needs and promote pathways to self-sufficiency for Jefferson County residents and the homeless. Our vision is to be a fluid and financially sound agency that identifies and responds to the basic human needs of the residents of Jefferson County.

Comitis offers help to you. For more than 41 years we have helped the Aurora community get through emergency situations and tough times. We serve families, teenagers, children, young adults, and adults. We are here to assist you with our supportive, well trained staff and quality programs. We provide a safe shelter for individuals that find themselves homeless, and help them rebuild their lives.
